MFM'S PRINCIPALS
Frank Ferrer is President of MFM Group, Inc. and
Managing Partner of MFM Simultaneous Interpretation Division.
He has a distinguished career in the meeting planning industry
with over 18 years of experience. He holds a degree in Political
Science and Economics from McGill University. He is fluent in
English, Spanish, French, Italian and Catalan. He has often
been a featured speaker on the topic of international conferences
and exhibit management. His meeting management experience ranges
from the direction of political campaigns to the organization
of the Asia Pacific Conferences in Yokohama, Japan, with over
17,500 delegates. Mr. Ferrer has organized conventions and exhibitions
in over 60 countries, from Sydney, Australia, to Cotonou, Benin,
including the United Nations in New York. He has managed conferences
with budgets ranging form $8,000 to $7,000,000. He is an active
member of MPI.
W. Daniel A. Lamey, CAE, is Executive Vice President of
MFM Group, Inc. and Managing Partner of MFM Management For Meetings
Division.
He also oversees our office in Washington D.C. Mr. Lamey spent
sixteen years as a senior association executive in both Canada
and the United States. He was Chief Administrative Officer of
Junior Chamber International, a half-million member management
training and community development organization, active in more
than 100 countries. He is also a former National Executive Director
of the Kinsmen and Kinette Clubs of Canada. He has managed meetings
in more than 25 countries and at the United Nations. He has
been a featured guest speaker on the subject of international
meetings in several countries including both Japan and the United
States. Mr. Lamey holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business
Administration form St. Mary's University, Halifax, N.S. He
is also a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and past President
of the Florida Society of Association Executives. He is an active
member of ASAE, PCMA, and FSAE.
