Free guide explains how
meeting planners can overcome language
barriers
Washington, DC (April 9, 2001) -- The Meeting Planner's Guide
to Simultaneous Interpretation is a new booklet which explains
how interpreters work and describes the types of equipment used
to overcome language barriers at international meetings.
The guide also outlines a number of steps meeting planners can
take to maximize the benefits of simultaneous interpretation
and reduce the cost. Among these are publicizing the availability
of interpretation to increase international attendance, providing
advance copies of speeches and other program materials to interpreters,
and working with your simultaneous interpretation equipment
vendor to establish procedures for distribution and collection
of receivers and headsets in order to avoid losses.
The guide is a free offering from MFM, one of the nation's largest
providers of interpretation services. For a free copy call MFM
at 800-814-6548. |
